Sift Eco Week Midweek Update
Update 2: We're halfway through Eco Week and long time Sifter @paul4dirt may run away with the polluted drinking glasses and Sift Shirt. There's still time for a dark horse. Lucky put a leader board on the front page sidebar - use that to track rankings.
Now that we access to some pretty great schwag in the newly minted VideoSift Shop, we're going to put it to use.
Sift Eco Week starts on Monday! The highest voted video during the week submitted in the eco.videosift.com channel gets this fabulous prize package:
- Polluted Glass - 2x 10 oz. drinking glass shaped like a 55-gallon barrel with etched radioactive emblem
- One fabulous VideoSift T-Shirt in the size and color of your choosing
In addition to this prize package, the winning submission will be featured in the sidebar for a week, thereby giving exposure to the eco message the video is promoting.
Update: Eco Week is underway. Keep an eye on the queue at eco.videosift.com and vote up your fav.
Contest Details
Video must be submitted between Monday, October 4th and 11:59pm Friday, October 8th (US PDT). In the event of a vote tie, the earliest submitted video will be selected.

I would like to point out the fact that the internet is actually eco-friendly.
...carry on.

The icon on the front page for getting to here is glitched in IE8 unless you're in compatibility mode, hides it under Front/Unsifted.
ps. I find MS to be annoying. I have to flip back and forth between modes to watch certain videos or even to just get the correct one like that assinine landlord vid from f.o.d.
can we post our submissions here?

great to see a contest like this, it's a lot of fun looking for interesting video in a category i wouldn't normally search in.

Yep, feel free to post them here. I voted yours up blankfist for its dissenting view, but I had to close my eyes while I did it - so my brain didn't see.
Yeah, it's certainly not gonna win, but I threw my hat in the ring.
Such a cool idea. Here's something to meld with the whatever to be called Arthropodology channel...

So, I guess I can't just promote my video about a Man turning Plastic into Oil from last month, and call it a day?
